One more thing...
In most cases the only time we'd ever suggest for you to buy a new computer is if it has suffered from liquid damage. Unless you have a computer with a moisture-proof keyboard (New Lenovo Thinkpads have these) it's pretty much a guarantee that it'll be dead.
|
When you spill liquid on a laptop, usually the only component that gets damaged is unfortunately the most expensive. This component is called the motherboard. It contains so many different parts that work closely together that if one of them is damaged, the whole board breaks.
At this point, you have two options. You can either have a new motherboard fitted, or you can buy a new computer. However, it is difficult to buy a new motherboard for less than £250, and we sell computers for even less than that. So the choice is completely yours. |
